This role is for a Senior Manager within our National Assurance team, focusing on Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) in Gurgaon. Our Assurance practice inspires confidence and trust, protecting the public interest and supporting economic growth. We assist clients by ensuring compliance with audit standards, providing clear perspectives to audit committees, and delivering critical information to stakeholders. Our services encompass External Audit, FAAS, IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and Corporate Treasury accounting.

Drive technical excellence by providing robust understanding of IFRS, US/UK GAAP, and international auditing standards. Offer expert accounting advice on complex topics such as business combinations, consolidation, and financial instruments. Coordinate with offshore technical teams, conducting research on accounting pronouncements and providing assistance. Lead project management, ensuring seamless information flow and coordination across finance functions. Manage accounting matters from initial pitches through to audit closing. Develop strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. Research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies.

Key responsibilities include accounting and regulatory support for accounting changes, writing white papers on significant accounting issues, and providing comprehensive technical guidance on complex transactions. You will conduct thorough research and analysis on accounting issues, document findings, and propose effective solutions. This role also involves preparing financial statements, defining accounting policies, supporting governance, optimizing accounting processes, and providing audit support.

To excel in this role, you should hold a Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), or ACCA (UK) qualification. We require 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in Assurance, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in Financial Accounting and Advisory Services. Experience in an advisory capacity and the ability to manage teams of 20+ people are essential.

Advanced skills are needed in technical accounting matters, including writing white papers on significant issues like consolidation and IFRS 15/16. Proficiency in GAAP conversion across various standards, including IFRS and US GAAP, is crucial. Hands-on consulting experience, ideally as a solution or service line lead within a Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm, is highly valued.
