As a Senior Manager, you will lead technical excellence in financial reporting, specifically reviewing EU FinRep reporting templates based on IFRS and EBA guidelines. You will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regulatory submissions, and support global banks with FINREP remediation. This role involves analyzing regulatory changes, implementing updates, and liaising with stakeholders and regulators to resolve reporting queries and data lineage issues.
You will conduct analytical reviews of periodic FINREP reporting, providing business insights on financial performance. A key aspect is ensuring compliance with IFRS standards like IFRS 9, IFRS 7, IFRS 10, IFRS 13, and IFRS 15, with a focus on Expected Credit Loss for banks. You will also prepare and review financial statements, maintain internal controls, and drive finance transformation initiatives using tools like Alteryx, VBA, Power BI, or ERP systems. Coaching junior team members, integrating with other EY service lines, and contributing to thought leadership are also integral parts of this role.
To excel in this role, you should be a qualified CA (or equivalent, such as CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, or MBA Finance) with a minimum of 9-12 years of relevant post-qualification experience. We seek individuals who can collaborate effectively across client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
