As a Senior Manager, you will lead and execute FAAS projects, developing and implementing innovative solutions. You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities and managing client accounts.

Key duties include coaching and mentoring junior team members, fostering technical excellence, and integrating with other EY service lines on multidisciplinary projects. You will also contribute to thought leadership and actively participate in marketing initiatives. This role involves regular travel to meet with key clients.

You will be instrumental in managing projects, ensuring technical expertise, and driving business development. Your ability to integrate within a collaborative environment and deliver practical solutions will be crucial for success.

To excel in this role, you must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or hold an equivalent certification such as CPA, ICAEW, or ACCA. A strong academic record with first or second-time passes in professional exams is preferred.

You should possess extensive experience in IGAAP and/or IFRS and/or US GAAP financial reporting, ideally gained within complex or large companies, audit/advisory firms, or multinational finance/M&A departments. A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience is required.

Essential skills include the ability to simplify complex accounting and financial reporting issues, an advisory mindset for developing client solutions, and strong business development acumen. Proven experience in at least one of the following areas is also crucial: Transactions (acquisitions, IPOs, consolidations), Tax Planning, developing technical training, or specific financial reporting topics like revenue recognition or financial instruments. Excellent project management and communication skills are fundamental.
