This role is within our National Assurance team, specifically focusing on the FAAS - Financial & Accounting Advisory Services division in Bangalore.

This role involves technical excellence in financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include reviewing EU FinRep reporting templates in line with IFRS and EBA guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submissions. You will support global banks with FINREP remediation programs, analyze and implement updates based on regulatory changes, and liaise with stakeholders to resolve reporting queries.

Further duties include conducting analytical reviews of periodic FINREP reporting, providing business insights on financial performance, and ensuring compliance with critical IFRS standards such as IFRS 9, IFRS 7, IFRS 10, IFRS 13, and IFRS 15. Experience with Expected Credit Loss (ECL) under IFRS 9 for banks is essential. You will also prepare/review financial statements, maintain internal controls, and drive finance transformation initiatives using tools like Alteryx, VBA, Power BI, SAP, or Oracle. Coaching junior team members, integrating with other EY service lines, and contributing to thought leadership are also vital aspects of this position.

To excel in this role, you should be a qualified CA (or possess equivalent qualifications such as CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, or an MBA in Finance). A minimum of 9 to 12 years of relevant post-qualification experience is required.
