Spearhead transaction negotiations and commercial structuring for data center energy contracts, including supply agreements and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Engage in energy regulatory interventions and policy advocacy within India to secure power, mitigate risks, and advance business priorities.
Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with governments, regulators, utilities, and energy developers to foster market acceleration and align with energy-related business objectives.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, coupled with a minimum of 10 years' experience in leading negotiations or business development.
Experience in cultivating strong relationships with government entities and private sector players in India, particularly energy developers, suppliers, and utilities, is highly preferred.
Demonstrated success in managing and executing commercial transactions through cross-functional collaboration within large multinational organizations is essential.
A thorough understanding of energy asset development, financing, and operation, alongside expertise in complex energy supply agreements and PPAs, is a key requirement. A comprehensive grasp of power generation (conventional and renewable), grid infrastructure, energy regulations, market dynamics, and energy policy in India is also critical.
