Spearhead transaction negotiations and commercial structuring for data center energy contracts, including supply, interconnection, and power purchase agreements.
Support energy regulatory interventions and policy advocacy efforts in India to secure power and mitigate operational risks.
Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with governments, regulators, utilities, energy developers, and grid operators to influence market dynamics and advance energy-related business objectives in India.
Contribute to significant strategic initiatives concerning data center energy and assess potential energy supply and infrastructure investment opportunities.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading negotiations or business development is essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience building strong relationships with government entities and private sector players in India's energy landscape (developers, suppliers, utilities).
A proven track record of managing and executing commercial transactions with cross-functional teams in large multinational organizations is highly desirable.
Demonstrated understanding of energy asset development, financing, and operations, coupled with expertise in crafting complex energy supply agreements and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Comprehensive knowledge of power generation (conventional and renewable), grid infrastructure, regulations, energy market dynamics, and energy policy in India is crucial.
Energy
