Join EY's Global Delivery Services as a Senior Investment Compliance professional, specializing in rule coding and financial regulations. This role demands meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance with intricate investment guidelines and foster strong client relationships.
Leverage your expertise in asset management, capital markets, and compliance to analyze investment agreements, interpret regulatory requirements, and implement coding solutions on compliance platforms. Contribute to a team dedicated to providing high-quality support and driving innovation within EY's global network.
As an Investment Compliance expert, you will conduct thorough analytical reviews of investor guidelines and interpret critical documentation such as Investment Management Agreements and Prospectus. Schedule and lead interpretation meetings with key stakeholders, then translate these interpretations into executable code on compliance platforms, rigorously testing each rule.
Your responsibilities will also include setting up counterparty and broker details, collaborating with operations teams to enhance data quality, and integrating new data analytics to refine compliance platforms. You will be tasked with configuring rules based on rating agency standards, resolving coding issues to minimize false positives, and maintaining approved and restricted lists. Furthermore, you will perform regular account coding reviews, research ad-hoc queries, identify and mitigate operational risks, and oversee task execution, resource allocation, and team performance to achieve organizational objectives.
We are seeking a seasoned professional with 7+ years of experience in Investment Compliance, particularly within Asset Management or Capital Markets. Expertise in coding complex rules on industry-standard platforms like LZ Sentinel, Charles River, Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, or ThinkFolio is essential.
Your analytical and interpretation skills will be crucial for deciphering client agreements and analyzing post-trade compliance tests. A solid understanding of financial instruments and portfolio management principles is required. Candidates with knowledge of the 1940 Act, UCITS, or ERISA, and those pursuing certifications such as FRM, CFA, or CISI, will find this role particularly appealing. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount.
