Key responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining SQL Server instances and other data repositories within the SCA environment. This involves ensuring successful backups, troubleshooting failures, and verifying data integrity. You will also be responsible for implementing and enforcing security guidelines for data access, ensuring compliance with SCA, industry, HIPPA, and SOX regulations. Performance tuning of SQL Servers and other data repositories is crucial for optimum response and resource utilization. Additionally, you'll participate in administrative functions, cross-train with the Data Operations team, and adhere to change management processes for all database-related deployments. Documentation and adherence to standard procedures and best practices are essential.

You will also be required to comply with employment contract terms, company policies, and directives, including flexibility in work arrangements and potential reassignments due to business needs. The company reserves the right to modify these policies at its discretion.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field, coupled with over 5 years of practical experience in a live business setting, is required. You should possess at least 4 years of experience supporting SQL Server within a cloud environment. A strong understanding of relational database concepts, modern data warehousing principles, Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and above, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS is essential. Familiarity with basic ASC systems, data structures, and accounting implementations is also necessary. An AI-first mindset is highly valued. The role demands the ability to operate a computer for extended periods and clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical audiences. Candidates should demonstrate proactive, decisive, and action-oriented behavior, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation abilities are expected. The capacity to focus on multiple concurrent efforts and work effectively across all organizational levels, including staff, stakeholders, and management, is crucial. Occasional travel may be required.
