As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in our Finance Consulting team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with Business Transition assignments, specifically in setting up Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services Centers (SSC). Your key responsibilities will include leveraging your expertise in GBS/SSC setup activities such as activity analysis, cost baselining, location assessment, business case creation, and target model design. You will apply working knowledge of GBS/SSC setup engagements and Business Transition assignments, with a focus on finance functions like Record to Report (RTR), Procure to Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). This includes hands-on experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, transaction matching, variance analysis, intercompany accounting, and fixed asset management. A strong understanding of financial reports and statements, along with knowledge of ledger and sub-ledger systems like SAP ERP/HANA or Oracle GL, is essential. You will also be expected to translate business requirements into technical language and be open to working in any shift.

To qualify for this role, you must hold a Commerce Graduate degree or an MBA in Finance. Other professional degrees like CPA, CFA, or CMA may be considered with relevant work experience. We are seeking candidates with 3-6 years of work experience in Business Transition, GBS, or SSC setup activities. Essential skills include strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with excellent articulation and professional communication skills in both oral and written English. You should be adaptable to ambiguous situations, able to work effectively at all organizational levels, and be a collaborative team player. Consulting experience and IFRS or Banking/Insurance certifications are considered advantageous.
