Responsibilities

Collaborate with the United AI Studio engineering teams to address complex business challenges. Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge software solutions that enhance service performance, durability, cost-efficiency, and security. Uphold stringent software engineering best practices to ensure exceptional quality across all team deliverables. Develop robust, high-quality distributed system software. Break down intricate problems into clear, manageable solutions. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth. Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to the evolving needs of projects and products. Actively seek diverse perspectives and be open to adjusting your understanding based on new insights. Adhere to all contractual obligations, company policies, and directives, including potential work location or team changes, and embrace alternative work arrangements as the business landscape evolves.

Qualifications

Hold a graduate degree or possess equivalent practical experience. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Bring a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer. Demonstrate experience in developing within complex, service-oriented architectures. Showcase proven experience collaborating effectively with engineering leadership. Exhibit a strong understanding of professional software engineering principles and best practices across the entire development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. Proficiency in key technologies such as Java (Spring Boot) and REST APIs, along with knowledge of Python. Possess a solid grasp of architectural principles, design patterns, reliability, and scalability. Be adept at utilizing cloud platforms and services, including Azure, AWS, and GCP. Maintain strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
