EY's Finance Consulting team is seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in process assessment and transformation. You will play a techno-functional role, analyzing client finance processes, identifying pain points, and developing innovative solutions. Key responsibilities include assessing and optimizing finance functions such as 'Record to Report,' 'Procure to Pay,' and 'Order to Cash.' You will conduct client workshops for current state analysis and future state process design, utilizing leading practices and industry benchmarks. Identifying opportunities for improvement through automation, technology, and standardization is crucial. You will create detailed process maps (L1-L5) using various tools and design KPIs and control frameworks.

Additional duties involve designing Charts of Accounts, managing project teams, and effectively prioritizing tasks. You will also be expected to translate business needs into technical requirements and possess strong accounting knowledge, including financial reports, consolidation, cost allocation, and budgeting. Experience with financial close activities and knowledge of ledger/sub-ledger systems like SAP ERP/HANA or Oracle GL are valuable. The role requires openness to domestic and international travel.

To qualify, candidates should possess a relevant postgraduate degree such as CA, CFA, CPA, MBA, or a Master's in Business Administration in Finance. A minimum of 3-6 years of work experience in the finance domain is required for the Senior level. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Consulting experience is considered an advantage. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are paramount, alongside the ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will also have exposure to tools like ERP systems, HFM, Visio, ARIS, BlueWorks, Celonis, or Alteryx. Project management and stakeholder management skills are beneficial. A keen commercial acumen, technical expertise, and enthusiasm for continuous learning in a dynamic environment are highly valued.
