As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will contribute to the development of next-generation AI solutions. This role involves partnering with clients across various BCG regions and industries on critical topics like climate change, enabling them to design, build, and deploy innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities include developing and disseminating thought leadership through scientific publications and leading conferences on behalf of BCG X. You will apply robust software development practices throughout the entire development lifecycle and guide non-technical teams on best practices.

Your role will also involve optimizing computational efficiency of algorithms and software designs. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, engaging directly with clients on new product features and collaborating within teams to share design ideas.

Essential qualifications include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 3-8 years of experience in software development, with prior consulting experience or strong leadership roles being advantageous. - Proficiency in software development and experience with global, remote agile squads. - Expertise in analytical software programming, preferably in Python, C++, or Scala. - Familiarity with storing, manipulating, and managing relational, non-relational, and streaming data. - Understanding of parallel computing concepts. - Experience with AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Additional desirable skills include generative AI tool development, full-stack technologies (GraphQL, React, JavaScript, TypeScript), DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform), data handling (SQL, Spark, Hadoop), and data science/machine learning (Pandas, Scikit-learn).
