As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing next-generation AI solutions. This involves partnering with clients to design, build, and deploy innovative systems, addressing key topics like climate change.

You will contribute to the development and dissemination of thought leadership through scientific publications and conference presentations on behalf of BCG X. The role requires applying robust software development practices and standards for maintainable code.

Expect to be actively involved in the entire software development lifecycle, optimize algorithmic efficiency, and guide non-technical teams on software development best practices. A fast-paced, client-facing environment is central to this role, with opportunities to contribute to new product features and collaborate on design and solution ideas.

We seek passionate individuals with a strong foundation in software development, large-scale data analytics, and a drive to transform organizations into AI-led innovators. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Possession of at least 2 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent advanced personal projects utilizing the latest AI toolchain is necessary. Experience in software development and collaboration within global, remote agile squads is essential.

Proficiency in analytic software programming, ideally in Python, C++, or Scala, is expected. Familiarity with managing relational, non-relational, and streaming data structures, along with an understanding of parallel computing, is also key.

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required, alongside full-stack development skills (GraphQL, React, JavaScript, TypeScript) and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform).

Familiarity with data formats like SQL, Spark, and Hadoop, as well as data science and machine learning libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn), is important. Fluency in English and proficiency in either Mandarin or Cantonese are mandatory.
