Join Oracle's Global Accounting Controllers (GAC) team as a Senior Financial Analyst. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly and quarterly financial close activities for designated countries. You'll be responsible for general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving accounting discrepancies, and supporting financial reporting in line with US GAAP and Oracle's accounting policies.

Key duties involve executing financial close processes, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and maintaining precise general ledger records. You will conduct periodic balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding items to ensure accurate financial statements. Collaboration with global finance teams is essential to support reporting, internal controls, and data practices. This position also involves identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation within accounting functions.

We are seeking candidates with a Qualified CA/CMA and 3–6 years of relevant experience, or a B.Com, M.Com, CA/CMA Inter, or MBA with 8+ years of experience. Essential technical skills include hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and financial close processes. Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations, variance investigation, and financial statement analysis is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with global, geographically distributed teams.
