Join Deloitte's Global Business Tax Tech Team as a Senior Executive, focusing on Income Tax Laws. This role offers a dynamic environment where you'll contribute to a wide range of tax advisory and compliance matters. You will play a key part in building and maintaining strong client relationships while exceeding expectations. This position is integral to our Tax Practice, which is dedicated to assisting clients navigate complex challenges and build robust financial futures.

Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research on technical tax situations and preparing expert opinions, short notes, and email responses for daily client queries. You will manage crucial compliances such as tax return filings, advance tax provisions, and other tax-related submissions. Assisting in tax assessment and litigation proceedings, including drafting responses to audits and representing clients before tax authorities, will be a significant part of your role. You will also coordinate with internal teams and operational activities like processing custodian reports, generating tax reports, and validating tax advice.

Furthermore, you will support system development projects by creating user requirement documents and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring all operational and project-related tax tasks are handled efficiently and accurately.

We are seeking a Senior Executive with 4–6 years of experience in Direct Taxation, holding a Graduate degree or being semi-qualified CA. Essential skills include a strong understanding of direct tax laws, proficiency in tax advisory and compliance, and the ability to manage tax assessments and litigation proceedings. Effective communication and presentation skills are crucial for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
