Join our Global Business Tax Tech Team as a Senior Executive, specializing in Income Tax Laws. This role offers a dynamic environment within Deloitte's Tax Practice, where you will contribute to shaping future aspirations through expert tax services. Engage in in-depth research on complex tax technical situations and prepare comprehensive tax opinions, short notes, and email responses. Manage compliances including tax return filings, withholding tax statements, advance tax, and income tax provisions. Assist in tax assessment and litigation proceedings, drafting responses and representing clients before tax authorities. Coordinate with internal teams and support daily operational tasks, including processing tax-related reports and validating tax advice.

Contribute to system development projects by creating user requirement documents and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

We seek candidates with 4-6 years of experience in Direct Taxation, holding a Graduate degree or Semi-qualified CA status. Essential skills include strong analytical capabilities, effective communication and presentation abilities, and a persistent, persuasive approach. Experience in handling tax advisory, compliance, assessment, and litigation matters is crucial. A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team are highly valued.
