Join our team as a Senior Executive specializing in Indirect Tax and HSN classification. This role is crucial for ensuring our import-export operations align with all applicable EU regulations and legislation, aiming to maximize business savings. You will play a key part in managing customs brokers and internal stakeholders to guarantee timely shipment clearances and maintain accurate MIS reporting.

The position requires an ability to lead and implement cross-functional projects, conduct thorough audits of import/export documents, and validate declarations filed with customs. Maintaining up-to-date and complete import/export databases for senior leadership reports is also a core responsibility.

Key responsibilities include ensuring all import/export databases are meticulously updated with accurate information for executive reports. You will manage licenses and customs authorizations, ensuring information is current and necessary changes are reported within legal frameworks. This role also involves managing customs audit processes, both periodic and transactional, and overseeing systematic recordkeeping of all import/export documentation on the EU server.

Furthermore, you will coordinate cross-functionally with Transportation, Product Managers, Finance, and Supply Chain. You'll leverage in-depth knowledge of customs clearance procedures for release into free circulation, bonded warehouses, and IPR, along with a strong understanding of INCOTERMS.

We seek a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and the primary contact for all customs and compliance matters. Responsibilities include leading onboarding, process transitions, and preparing training materials. Developing team backups and maintaining business continuity are essential for flawless delivery.

This role demands a strong focus on process standardization, improvement, documentation, and mentoring new team members. You will facilitate the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) and SMART goals, assisting managers in performance evaluations. Enhancing productivity metrics, identifying training needs, conducting regular 1:1s, performance evaluations, and stakeholder connects are also part of the role. Driving the team to integrate new approaches and best practices is expected.
