Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Optum and client requirements for Workday Payroll configuration, covering earnings, deductions, taxes, and calculations. You will assist with payroll processing, validation, and reconciliation, alongside troubleshooting and resolving system issues. The role also involves participating in Workday quarterly release reviews, supporting payroll integrations, EIBs, and data loads, and managing change control activities.

Additional duties encompass application maintenance, security management, monitoring interface errors, and resolving integration issues. You will also provide timely updates via ServiceNow, gather requirements from business users, document solutions, and support payroll audits and process improvements. Collaboration with HR, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Finance teams is essential, adhering to all company policies and directives.

We are seeking candidates with at least 4 years of direct experience in Workday Payroll. A strong foundation in Workday Payroll configuration and support, including hands-on experience with EIBs, reports, and calculated fields, is crucial. Understanding of Workday business objects and security concepts is required.

Essential qualifications include a solid grasp of payroll processing, earnings, deductions, and taxation principles. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills, are necessary. The ability to work effectively during US business hours is also a requirement. A graduate degree or equivalent experience is expected.
