Join NVIDIA's Enterprise Experience (NVEX) team as a Senior Enterprise Solution Engineer focused on Networking Software. This dynamic role offers a unique blend of technical problem-solving and software development. You will triage and resolve complex customer network issues, while also contributing to enhancements and tools for NVIDIA's advanced Ethernet switch systems.

This position is ideal for a highly technical individual with a passion for technology, deep understanding of network operations, and strong software engineering skills. You will work with cutting-edge technologies including Cumulus Linux, SONiC, and Mellanox Onyx on Spectrum hardware, making a tangible impact across various levels of development and customer support.

Develop new features and essential tools to support our comprehensive Enterprise Service offerings, with a primary focus on Networking/switching products.

Collaborate closely with NVIDIA Enterprise customers and internal users to enhance the availability, reliability, and overall user experience of NVIDIA Networking products.

Take full ownership of customer issues related to Ethernet or InfiniBand switch network deployments, driving them from initial report to successful resolution.

Explore and research innovative new use cases for GPUs within network systems.

Apply independent analysis, effective communication, and robust problem-solving skills to elevate the customer experience.

Partner with engineering teams to document, meticulously recreate, and resolve complex technical issues.

Author and integrate valuable technical solutions into our growing knowledge base.

A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.

Possess at least 5 years of experience in system software development and troubleshooting, with a preference for customer-facing roles.

Demonstrate configuration and operational expertise with network switch/router platforms such as IOS, JunOS, or EOS.

Exhibit a proven ability to conduct deep analysis of IP, Layer 2 switching, and Layer 3 routing networking protocols, including ARP, STP, LACP, MLAG, IGMP, PIM, BGP, and OSPF.

Bring experience in resolving problems within large-scale network environments, specifically involving overlay technologies like BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and EVPN.

Show proficiency in using tools like tcpdump, interpreting relevant RFCs, and effectively filing bug reports.

Cultivate intellectual curiosity, a positive attitude, flexibility, strong analytical abilities, self-motivation, and a team-oriented mindset.

Exhibit strong computer science fundamentals and excellent knowledge of Python and scripting methodologies.
