A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is foundational. You should possess a minimum of 8 years in software development, with proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

Significant experience is required in people management (5 years) and technical leadership (5 years). A Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred, alongside experience in complex, matrixed organizations (5 years).

Experience with systems engineering practices, including incident response, monitoring, SLOs, and change management, is highly valued. Prior experience in e-commerce software development will be a distinct advantage.
