Direct a nearly 50-person organization responsible for YouTube OTT's video and metadata acquisition. Serve as a senior Site Lead for the OTT division in Bengaluru, collaborating closely with Product Management, UX, and Program Management to enhance site operations, recruitment, and employee retention.

Develop and scale ambitious engineering solutions to empower media companies on YouTube, transitioning from high-touch operations to self-serve management within YouTube Studio. Take ownership of global OTT catalog quality by establishing key metrics and implementing automated solutions for detection and improvement.

Scale and mentor a dynamic Bengaluru-based team, ensuring alignment with YouTube's core values and rapid execution, incorporating AI where beneficial. Cultivate robust partnerships with OTT leadership teams in San Bruno/Mountain View and with key global platforms like YouTube Studio, YouTube Commerce, and YouTube Data.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, alongside at least 8 years of software development experience in languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript. A minimum of 5 years in a people management or team leadership capacity is essential, along with 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Experience within a complex, matrixed organization for 5 years is beneficial. Familiarity with systems engineering practices, including incident response, monitoring, service-level objectives, and change management, is advantageous. Prior experience in e-commerce or video/OTT environments is also a plus.
