- Guide and develop a team of engineers focused on critical platform initiatives. - Own the technical strategy and execution for Data Deletion, Webscripts, Internationalisation, and Rippling Config Service. - Collaborate with product, design, compliance, security, and infrastructure teams to shape roadmaps and delivery timelines. - Conduct architecture reviews, ensuring systems are robust, scalable, maintainable, and secure. - Foster clear ownership, operational excellence, and high engineering quality across various platform domains. - Balance immediate product needs with strategic long-term platform investments.

- A minimum of 12 years in software engineering, including over 3 years in engineering management. - Demonstrated experience leading teams focused on platform, infrastructure, developer productivity, or shared product surfaces. - Exceptional technical judgment with the ability to analyze distributed systems, data models, APIs, reliability, and scalability. - Proven success in managing ambiguous, cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders. - Experience in managing senior engineers and aligning multiple teams towards common goals. - Strong execution capabilities, including roadmap planning, project delivery, operational metrics, and incident resolution. - Capacity to balance rapid product development with sustained platform quality. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in articulating technical strategies and trade-offs.
