Lead and cultivate a high-performing engineering team, focusing on talent acquisition, mentorship, and professional development.

Define and own the technical strategy, architecture, and execution for critical Benefits Marketplace products and services.

Develop highly scalable and reliable backend systems that power benefits enrollment, eligibility, carrier integrations, and intricate business workflows.

Drive architectural advancements in areas such as distributed systems, APIs, asynchronous processing, data consistency, and fault tolerance.

Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Platform, and senior engineering leadership to craft roadmaps and transform ambiguous business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

Maintain deep technical engagement through system design reviews, architectural discussions, critical code reviews, and proactive production troubleshooting.

Oversee end-to-end product development, effectively balancing rapid execution with high engineering quality and long-term scalability.

Foster a team culture characterized by strong ownership, accountability, technical excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

A minimum of 12-17 years of comprehensive software engineering experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to engineering management.

Possess a robust technical foundation in backend engineering, distributed systems, intricate system design, and scalable architectural principles.

Demonstrated success in building and scaling complex, customer-facing products from initial concept through to production.

Exhibit strong coding and architectural proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, Go, C++, Scala, or comparable alternatives.

Proven capability to lead high-performing engineering teams, mentor senior engineers, and uphold a rigorous technical standard.

Cultivate a strong product mindset, adept at translating customer and business needs into effective technical strategies and actionable execution plans.
