Seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer specializing in Quality Engineering (QE) with 6-8 years of experience. This role demands a strong command of software Quality Assurance (QA) principles and hands-on expertise with tools like Cucumber and API testing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven capacity to meticulously plan, schedule, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks, alongside creating, managing, and executing comprehensive test cases, scripts, and scenarios across various software components. A solid understanding of ETL processes and SQL is essential, complemented by experience in software engineering practices using Spring Boot, Kafka, and Maven.

We are looking for an individual with hands-on experience in setting up Cypress projects, writing effective end-to-end tests, and leveraging Cypress commands and assertions. Proven experience in testing enterprise systems and applications, both manually and through automation, is critical. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, and experience with cloud technologies is a significant advantage. Familiarity with the retail environment is a plus.

Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for software components. Design, create, and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios to ensure software quality. Implement and manage end-to-end tests using the Cypress Framework. Conduct manual and automated testing for enterprise systems and applications. Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects. Ensure software adheres to quality standards and requirements.

Contribute to the overall test strategy and methodology. Utilize ETL processes and SQL for data validation. Apply software engineering practices with Spring Boot, Kafka, and Maven. Leverage cloud technologies in testing efforts. Document test results and provide regular status updates.
