We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer for our Product and Platform Engineering team. This role offers significant ownership and autonomy, allowing you to manage the full development lifecycle from conception to deployment. You'll be instrumental in driving innovation and modernizing our systems.

Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment, as there are no separate testing teams. Proactively identify and resolve blockers, demonstrating self-sufficiency. Collaborate closely with Product teams, driving your own delivery and contributing actively to team discussions with informed opinions.

Engage in pair programming, especially during the onboarding phase, to foster knowledge sharing and enhance code quality. Actively participate in team discussions, offering insights and solutions. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and modernize existing systems, rather than merely maintaining them.

Demonstrated expertise in C# .NET is essential. Experience with AWS (ECS/EKS) and containerization is highly advantageous. Proficiency in source control tools like Bitbucket and CI/CD pipeline tooling such as Jenkins, Argo, or Octopus is required.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like PagerDuty, Coralogix, and Grafana Cloud, along with awareness of production support. Experience with delivery and documentation tools including Jira and Confluence. Proficiency in various database technologies (SQL Server, DynamoDB, Postgres, MySQL) and queuing systems (SQS, SNS, RabbitMQ, Kafka).

Understanding of gRPC, REST APIs, and batch processing concepts. Strong grasp of the Object-Oriented Programming paradigm and observability practices. This role is exclusively backend-focused; no front-end skills are necessary. A willingness to navigate complex, legacy code and actively explore AI tools like Copilot is expected. Openness to modernization and adopting new technologies is crucial.
