Seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer to join our Product and Platform Engineering team, focusing on UI development. This role is ideal for a Lead Developer with extensive experience in building high-performance, secure, and scalable single-page applications.

This position involves defining and driving technical strategy, architectural vision, and best practices for modern web UI development. You will oversee the design and implementation of robust software solutions, ensuring successful product execution and business strategy alignment.

Drive technical strategy and architectural vision to align with product and business goals. Define and enforce best practices for library, framework, and tool usage. Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of software applications from development through release. Deconstruct complex requirements into manageable architectural components and strategies. Collaborate across the full software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality, on-time, and within-budget delivery. Lead and mentor a team of software developers and architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding delivery goals, objectives, and status updates. Work closely with Architects, Product Owners, and Leadership as a key contributor to Web UI/Front End Development. Thrive in an agile and dynamic team setting.

Proven expertise in developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular (versions 16 and above) and associated libraries. Strong understanding of Micro-frontend UI architecture, with a preference for AWS cloud integration. Proficiency in the Angular ecosystem, demonstrating its application in high-traffic, performant, and secure production environments. Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), including TypeScript, ES6, ES7, ES8, and ESNext. Experience with legacy Angular JS frameworks and successful technology transitions or framework upgrades. Familiarity with RxJs and NGXS libraries. Skilled in unit testing using JavaScript frameworks like Jasmine and Karma, integrated with SonarQube. Intermediate understanding of Node.js and Express.js. Good grasp of Server-Side Rendering and Isomorphic Application development with modern UI frameworks. Proficient in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3. Basic knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS. Experience with client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks. Demonstrated experience in Responsive UI design, UI design patterns, and best practices. Ability to address cross-browser compatibility issues effectively. Understanding of UI Accessibility standards. Proficiency with code versioning tools like GIT. Familiarity with the deployment process of UI applications. Experience with React and Redux libraries is a plus.
