Join our QA team as a Senior Android Mobile Tester, bringing at least 5 years of dedicated experience to enhance software quality. This role involves independently managing crucial testing phases, including integration, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Your expertise will be vital in creating comprehensive testing documentation, such as detailed test plans, rigorous test cases, and insightful reports. Ensuring the highest standards of software quality and performance will be at the core of your responsibilities, contributing directly to the success of our product.

Develop and execute automated test cases for Android mobile applications across integration, SIT, and UAT environments. Conduct thorough functional, regression, performance, and usability testing on Android devices and emulators. Collaborate with development, business analysis, and product teams to align testing with project requirements and identify key test scenarios. Maintain and manage testing environments, ensuring correct configuration for each testing phase. Independently execute testing activities, promptly log defects, and verify bug fixes. Produce detailed test documentation, including test plans, scripts, and defect reports. Support release activities through comprehensive test summaries and sign-off reports. Participate actively in test environment setup, configuration, and coordination efforts. Uphold the overall quality, stability, and performance of Android applications prior to production deployment.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required, alongside a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in Android mobile application testing. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Android OS, device compatibility nuances, UI/UX testing principles, and the mobile application deployment lifecycle. Proficiency with essential testing tools such as Appium, UI Automator, and TestNG, or similar automation frameworks, is expected. Candidates must possess proven ability in writing and managing detailed, high-quality test documentation. Familiarity with testing across multiple environments, including integration, SIT, and UAT, is crucial. Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla is necessary, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and reporting capabilities are essential for this role.
