Seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer for our Product and Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on Java Full Stack development, leveraging modern frameworks and cloud technologies, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in building robust applications, demonstrating a strong grasp of both front-end and back-end development paradigms. A proven track record in cloud-native solutions and microservices architecture is essential for success in this position.

Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based full-stack applications, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end components. Design, implement, and deploy microservices and RESTful APIs, adhering to best practices in software engineering. Utilize cloud services on GCP for building, deploying, and managing applications, including experience with cloud build, SQL, and pipeline tools. Write comprehensive unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into scalable and performant solutions.

A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on Java full-stack development. Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and modern frameworks like Angular or React with TypeScript (4+ years). Extensive experience with JDK 1.8 and above, Spring, and Spring Boot (3+ years), along with a solid understanding of microservices and REST API development (2+ years). Demonstrated experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (2+ years) and a commitment to thorough unit testing. Practical experience with GCP cloud services, including exposure to Cloud Runner, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, Tekton Pipelines, and Terraform scripting (6 months to 1 year minimum). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
