Join our International Mobility team as a seasoned Sr. Software Engineer, contributing to fleet management and mobility payment solutions for EU and APAC regions. This role is part of a dynamic, distributed development team across India, UK, and USA, focusing on SaaS and API solutions. Our products empower businesses by enabling flexible credit issuance and spend control for fleet operations.

We are looking for an engineer who can design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services. You will have the opportunity to craft public REST and internal gRPC APIs, lead design discussions, and ensure the scalability and reliability of our systems. This position emphasizes a proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing object-oriented backend services, creating robust REST and gRPC APIs, and leading system design decisions. You will be responsible for writing comprehensive automated tests, analyzing system performance to identify and address bottlenecks, and implementing automation for deployment and monitoring.

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver new features, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior team members. Drive incident resolution for production applications, author root cause analyses, and maintain essential documentation. You will also lead cross-team projects and actively facilitate progress for other engineers.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and problem-solving.

Expertise in building internet-scale services with a focus on scalability, availability, security, and reliability is essential. Proficiency in backend development, particularly with Java or C# and frameworks like Spring Boot, is crucial. Experience with building and optimizing RESTful APIs, ODATA, and SQL is also necessary. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are expected.
