Join our dynamic QA team as a Senior Android Mobile Tester, bringing at least 5 years of specialized experience. You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and performance of our Android applications through rigorous testing across integration, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases. Your role involves crafting comprehensive test documentation, including detailed test plans, cases, and insightful reports, to uphold our software standards.

This position offers a crucial role in the product lifecycle, demanding a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can independently manage testing activities and contribute to the smooth release of high-quality mobile products.

Develop and execute automated test cases for Android mobile applications across various environments, including integration, SIT, and UAT. Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, performance, and usability testing on Android devices and emulators. Collaborate closely with development, business analysis, and product teams to understand requirements and define effective test strategies. Manage and maintain testing environments, ensuring optimal configuration for each testing phase. Execute testing activities independently, diligently log defects, and verify fixes in a timely manner. Produce detailed test documentation, encompassing test plans, test cases, scripts, and defect reports. Support release activities by delivering clear test summaries and sign-off reports. Contribute to test environment setup, configuration, and coordination efforts. Ensure the overall quality, stability, and performance of Android applications prior to production deployment.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required. A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience as a mobile tester, with a strong focus on Android applications, is essential.

Possess a deep understanding of the Android OS, device compatibility nuances, UI/UX testing principles, and the application deployment process. Proficiency with essential testing tools such as Appium, UI Automator, or TestNG, along with experience in automation frameworks, is crucial. You should be adept at creating and managing detailed test documentation and familiar with testing across integration, SIT, and UAT environments.

Knowledge of defect management tools like Jira or Bugzilla is expected. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with excellent communication and reporting skills, are key to success in this role.
