Seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer for our Product and Platform Engineering team, focusing on UI development. This role is pivotal in shaping the user interface of our products, requiring a deep understanding of modern front-end technologies and architectural patterns. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building scalable and performant single-page applications.

This position offers the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, define architectural strategies, and mentor a talented team. You will be instrumental in driving best practices and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Define and champion the technical strategy and architectural vision to align with product and business objectives. Establish and enforce best practices for library, framework, and tool utilization. Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of software and marketing applications throughout their lifecycle, from development to release.

Deconstruct complex requirements into manageable architectural components, modules, and tasks. Collaborate effectively across the full software development lifecycle to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of top-tier products. Lead and mentor software developers, architects, and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders regarding delivery goals, objectives, deliverables, plans, and status.

A strong command of building Single Page Applications using Angular (versions 16 and above) and its associated libraries is essential. Expertise in Micro-frontend UI architecture, preferably coupled with AWS cloud experience, is highly valued. A profound understanding of the Angular ecosystem's application in high-traffic, high-throughput, performant, and secure production environments is required.

Proficiency in Object-Oriented JavaScript, including TypeScript, ES6, ES7, ES8, and ESNext, is crucial. Experience with legacy Angular JS, including technology transitions and framework upgrades, is beneficial. Familiarity with RxJs and NGXS libraries is expected. Proficiency in unit testing using JavaScript frameworks like Jasmine and Karma, alongside SonarQube, is necessary.

An intermediate understanding of Node.js and Express.js is required. A good grasp of Server-Side Rendering and Isomorphic Application development with modern UI frameworks is important. Proficiency in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3, is a must. Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms like LESS and SASS is needed. Strong skills in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks are essential.

Experience with Responsive UI design, UI design patterns, and best practices is required. A deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions is necessary. Good knowledge of UI Accessibility standards is expected. Proficiency with code versioning tools like GIT is mandatory. Understanding of the UI application deployment process is also required.
