Altimetrik is seeking experienced Network Engineers to join a dynamic 24x7 Network Operations Centre. This role focuses on supporting a highly available, regulated payments platform hosted on AWS. You will play a key role in resolving daily network challenges, contributing to incident response, and managing network modifications.

This position offers a clear growth path toward specializing in cloud networking. You will receive guidance from senior team members while contributing to a rota that ensures coverage across UK and APAC regions.

Investigate and resolve network operational issues efficiently. Participate in incident management calls and provide timely support. Assist with the implementation of network changes and configurations. Develop expertise in cloud networking concepts and best practices under senior mentorship. Contribute to a rotating schedule to ensure continuous network availability.

Possess a solid understanding of AWS networking fundamentals, including VPC, Subnets, and Routing. Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks firewalls or similar firewall technologies is essential. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is advantageous. Basic scripting abilities in Python or a similar language are beneficial. A foundational grasp of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and IAM, is required.
