NTT DATA seeks a Senior Engineer specializing in Microsoft Entra / Identity & Access Management (IAM) to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This is a senior, hands-on engineering position focused on designing, implementing, securing, and automating enterprise identity solutions. The role requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) and related identity technologies, moving beyond routine administration to architectural design and complex problem-solving.

Lead the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft Entra ID solutions across diverse enterprise environments. Develop secure identity architectures for cloud, SaaS, on-premises, and hybrid setups, translating requirements into detailed technical designs. Establish and champion engineering standards, patterns, and implementation approaches to modernize and migrate IAM systems.

Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms, including SSO, MFA, passwordless options, and Conditional Access policies. Design and integrate enterprise applications with Microsoft Entra ID using protocols like SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC. Manage identity governance capabilities, access reviews, and lifecycle workflows to streamline Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes.

Engineer and administer Microsoft Entra Privileged Identity Management (PIM) to enforce Just-in-Time access and least-privilege principles. Support hybrid identity solutions, integrating on-premises Active Directory with Microsoft Entra ID, and troubleshoot synchronization and authentication issues. Automate IAM operations using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API to enhance efficiency and security.

Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex authentication, authorization, SSO, federation, and provisioning issues. Partner with cybersecurity teams to implement Zero Trust identity architecture and conduct risk assessments. Offer technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural and security reviews.

This role demands a minimum of 8 years of experience in IAM, Identity Engineering, or Cybersecurity, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory. Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise IAM solutions, rather than solely operational administration, is crucial.

Candidates must possess strong hands-on experience with core Microsoft Entra ID features, including Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, Identity Governance, and hybrid identity solutions. Expertise in integrating applications via SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing IAM automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API is essential.

Additional requirements include a strong understanding of identity security and Zero Trust architecture, and the demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex identity and access issues. Excellent technical documentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are expected.
