You'll be part of the Electrical Engineering team in Bangalore, driving innovation in X-ray generation.

Responsibilities

Spearhead the design and development of High Frequency High Voltage Generators for X-ray applications.

Collaborate with hardware and software experts to create essential designs for X-ray Generators.

Analyze requirements, perform calculations and simulations, and develop high-voltage concepts tailored for high-frequency X-ray generators.

Independently lead product designs, manage design changes, and drive value engineering programs for X-ray generators.

Own assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery according to program requirements and GE HealthCare's Quality Management System.

Work with cross-functional teams on integration, testing, verification, and design transfer of new and updated designs.

Engage in diverse projects including advanced technology development, new product introduction, design transfer, improvements, value engineering, and reliability.

Align execution with business priorities by collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

A Master's degree (ME/MTech) in High Voltage Engineering is required, with a PhD being desirable. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is essential.

Demonstrated experience in designing high voltage generation circuits, such as multiplier or voltage doubler circuits. Expertise in high voltage insulation design and packaging is also crucial.

Hands-on proficiency in electrical field stress simulations and analysis using FEM tools like ANSYS, CST, or MAXWELL.

Solid understanding of PWA design principles and component selection for high voltage applications. Skill in high voltage measurement techniques is expected.

Capability to conduct high voltage stress testing, margin testing, and troubleshoot high voltage circuits in X-ray generators and tubes. Familiarity with HV cables, connectors, and enclosures for HV systems is necessary.

Ability to analyze existing systems and monitoring equipment for troubleshooting and problem resolution. Knowledge of engineering change management processes is also required.
