We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer specializing in Data Engineering and Database Development. This role involves deep expertise in relational database modeling and development across Oracle and SQL Server.

You will analyze user requirements, translate them into robust database solutions, and implement them efficiently in database code. This position is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about data integrity and performance optimization.

Your primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining complex SQL queries and routines, working with intricate data models, and generating detailed reports. You will also be instrumental in optimizing, tuning, and troubleshooting SQL code to ensure peak performance.

Additionally, you will assist the development team throughout the database application lifecycle, from design and development to testing, tuning, and implementation. A strong understanding of server performance troubleshooting is essential.

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in database development, specifically within Oracle and SQL Server environments, is required. You must possess a comprehensive understanding of relational database modeling and demonstrate strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development in Oracle 19.

Proficiency in writing packages and procedures is a key requirement. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also essential for collaborating effectively with the team and stakeholders. Experience with Unix shell scripting is a valuable asset.
