Advance health optimization on a global scale as a Senior Digital Product Manager at Optum. This role focuses on driving operational excellence for the UnitedHealthcare App platform through scalable reporting, customer insights, and efficient release management. You'll transform feedback and data into actionable intelligence to enhance product leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Join a culture dedicated to inclusion and professional growth, contributing directly to improving health outcomes by connecting people with the care and resources they need. Optum offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to make a significant impact in the communities served.
Key responsibilities include managing Voice of the Customer (VoC) reporting and analysis from various feedback sources, transforming qualitative and quantitative data into actionable themes and insights. You will also analyze app performance, store reviews, and market trends, developing concise reports to guide product decisions.
Responsibilities extend to identifying and implementing AI-enabled reporting and automation to enhance efficiency and consistency. This involves managing platform performance reporting, maintaining dashboards, and ensuring clear communication of app health and customer experience signals. Developing actionable insights and early signals by connecting customer feedback with operational data is crucial, alongside managing stakeholder communications and release governance activities.
Furthermore, you will maintain consistent product intake practices, support Aha! hygiene, and track product documentation. Collaborating cross-functionally with product, UX, engineering, and operations teams to share insights and reduce siloed reporting is essential. You'll also support executive and operating reviews by preparing materials that highlight key patterns, risks, and areas needing leadership attention.
Continuous improvement is key, establishing standardized templates, repeatable workflows, and documented operating processes for consistent execution. This role also involves supporting the adoption of these practices across additional mobile applications. Adherence to all company policies and directives is required.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with over 3 years of experience in digital product management, product operations, digital insights, or business analysis within a digital product organization. Experience with mobile applications, app-store experiences, or consumer-facing digital products is essential.
This role demands experience in analyzing qualitative customer feedback and quantitative product/operational data, coupled with a proven ability to create recurring reports, dashboards, scorecards, executive summaries, and operating review materials. Proficiency with analytics, automation, or AI-assisted tools for information synthesis and pattern identification is also necessary.
Familiarity with product management, customer feedback, analytics, or reporting tools such as Aha!, AppFollow, Qualtrics, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel is required. Understanding agile development, scrum principles, and the digital product lifecycle is important.
Demonstrated abilities include validating AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, translating large volumes of customer feedback into clear themes, and excellent written communication for stakeholder updates. Strong attention to detail is needed for managing recurring processes and dependencies. The ability to work independently and effectively with distributed teams through clear documentation and structured collaboration is paramount.
Building effective partnerships across product, design, research, measurement, engineering, operations, and business teams is a key requirement. Experience supporting Voice of the Customer programs, app-store reputation management, digital insights, or customer experience measurement is preferred. Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders within a large, matrixed healthcare or regulated organization is also advantageous.
