As a System Planning Engineer, you are entrusted with performing comprehensive power system studies and network planning. Your core objective is to ensure the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical transmission and distribution systems. You will engage closely with utility clients, engineering teams, and stakeholders to meticulously evaluate system performance, pinpoint constraints, and propose effective network reinforcement solutions.

Key responsibilities include conducting power system planning and network capability assessments, executing various studies like load flow, contingency, short-circuit, and stability analyses. You will analyze system constraints, develop reinforcement and expansion recommendations, and evaluate grid performance under diverse operating and future planning scenarios. Furthermore, you'll support integration studies for renewable energy sources and emerging technologies, preparing detailed technical reports and presentations.

The ideal candidate brings over 5 years of experience in Power System Planning, Network Studies, or Grid Analysis. A strong grasp of electrical power systems and transmission/distribution networks is essential, coupled with hands-on experience in load flow, contingency, fault level, and stability analysis. You should have a proven track record in developing technical recommendations for system reinforcement and network expansion. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities are also crucial.

Mandatory technical skills include proficiency with PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PowerWorld, Microsoft Excel, and GIS Tools. Experience with power system studies, load flow analysis, contingency analysis, stability studies, and network planning & reinforcement is required. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field is a prerequisite.
