Job description

NVIDIA is at the forefront of technological innovation, driving advancements in AI and computing with our powerful GPUs. We foster a diverse and supportive environment where brilliant minds collaborate to solve complex challenges and amplify human creativity. Join our dynamic team and contribute to groundbreaking work that shapes the future of technology.

Our IODFX Engineering team is dedicated to pioneering innovations in the testing of high-speed IOs and interconnects for cutting-edge semiconductor chips. We tackle the increasing complexity of IOs required for our advanced product lines, from consumer graphics to autonomous vehicles and AI.

Responsibilities

Engage in POR to Post Silicon Testing of DFX features for high-speed IOs, focusing on crafting essential test features for manufacturing. Architect, design, and validate these features through robust and scalable test plans at unit and SOC/Full Chip levels using UVM and NVIDIA's proprietary tools.

Conduct pre-silicon simulation and debug of test functionality using industry-standard tools. Ensure sign-off on test coverage for various products by employing standard coverage metrics.

Drive automation, flow development, and improvements, focusing on coverage metrics, test execution, bug identification, and productization of IO tests. Solve complex problems in mixed-signal environments and develop scalable, cross-platform test solutions.

Collaborate closely with IP teams on IOBIST test-logic design and verification. Partner with Mixed-Signal Circuit design teams to understand analog components within IO cells. Coordinate with other DFX teams, Post-Silicon Test Engineering, and Production Engineering for efficient, high-quality test productization.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or equivalent experience is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

Solid understanding and exposure to logic design, architecture, and verification methodologies. Proficient coding skills in industry-standard scripting languages are necessary.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in DFT and/or industry-standard verification flows such as constrained random testing, UVM, coverage metrics, and profiling tools. Experience with Xprop is considered a plus.

Exceptional written and oral communication abilities, coupled with a genuine curiosity to learn and adapt to new technologies and NVIDIA's custom tools and flows, are highly valued.
