You will support the OpenStack Team Operations queue within our cloud environments, focusing on developing and maintaining OpenStack services. Responsibilities include managing cloud operations, monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with bug resolution and KPI investigations. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with SRE, PaaS, and Infrastructure engineers, architects, and product managers to support code development and define launch strategies. You will tackle complex multi-site OpenStack deployments supporting NVIDIA's products and partner with diverse teams such as systems engineering, software development, and data center operations to ensure a robust and reliable platform from inception to deployment. Your contributions will directly enhance deployment quality and accelerate time-to-market for next-generation products.

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required. We are looking for candidates with 8+ years of experience supporting OpenStack with Ironic. A deep understanding of the PXE process, including host and network configurations, is essential. Familiarity with services like DHCP, TFTP, HTTP, and ISCSI for PXE booting is crucial for effective troubleshooting. You should be well-versed in OpenStack services (nova, Neutron, Glance, Cinder, Ironic) and their interdependencies, with the ability to troubleshoot across applications and understand deployment processes. Proficiency in AI DevOps Tools and Python coding is necessary. Expertise in supporting third-party services such as MySQL, RabbitMQ, CEPH, HaProxy, and Keepalived is expected, alongside experience with configuration and maintenance tools like Ansible, Gitlab, Jenkins, Grafana, DataDog, and Elastic Search.
