Job description

Join NVIDIA as a Senior Developer Relations Manager for Robotics, spearheading the advancement of physical AI. You will lead hands-on Developer Relations efforts in India, focusing on robotics, edge AI, and physical AI developers. Your mission is to empower technical teams to transition AI-powered systems from concept to production, leveraging NVIDIA's accelerated computing and AI software platforms.

This pivotal role requires a senior technical DevRel leader with a deep understanding of robotics development, AI perception, edge deployment, simulation, and autonomy. A keen grasp of the commercial realities of deploying physical systems is essential. You'll be instrumental in creating compelling demos, writing and reviewing code, conducting workshops, resolving developer challenges, explaining complex robotics architecture trade-offs, and channeling developer feedback into actionable product insights. Collaboration with NVIDIA's product, engineering, solution architecture, sales, marketing, and ecosystem teams will be key to cultivating a robust robotics developer community in India.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive technical Developer Relations strategy tailored for India's robotics, edge AI, and physical AI sectors.

Cultivate strategic partnerships with founders, CTOs, robotics engineers, perception specialists, simulation developers, product leaders, and system integrators.

Pinpoint critical workloads, including robot perception, sensor fusion, autonomy, path planning, simulation, synthetic data generation, digital twins, edge inference, fleet learning, and warehouse automation.

Evaluate the suitability of GPU acceleration for robotics and edge AI workloads by identifying performance bottlenecks and distinguishing compute-intensive tasks from other constraints like I/O, memory, network, or latency.

Create and refine robotics demos, sample code, reference architectures, lab materials, and technical guides to facilitate developer evaluation and adoption of NVIDIA technologies.

Guide developers on leveraging NVIDIA's cloud-to-edge platforms, accelerated AI workflows, simulation tools, model optimization techniques, edge inference capabilities, and deployment patterns.

Organize and lead robotics-focused code labs, workshops, architecture reviews, office hours, developer sessions, technical webinars, and community engagement programs.

Collaborate with internal NVIDIA teams to provide support for key robotics accounts and remove technical adoption barriers.

Foster ecosystem growth among robotics startups, industrial automation partners, academic institutions, and research communities.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, AI, or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in technical Developer Relations, robotics, autonomous systems, edge AI, embedded systems, computer vision, simulation, solution architecture, or technical ecosystem development.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of robotics software stacks, AI perception, sensor fusion, edge deployment strategies, model optimization, and the practical constraints of physical systems.

Exhibit hands-on programming proficiency in Python and C++, with familiarity in Linux environments, robotics middleware, sensor data pipelines, and edge deployment workflows.

Familiarity with cloud-to-edge workflows, containerization technologies, Linux operating systems, embedded platforms, APIs, and contemporary AI development methodologies.

Possess the ability to analyze and interpret robotics workloads, assessing GPU applicability, compute intensity, memory bandwidth, sensor I/O, latency, throughput, batching, power consumption, thermal limitations, and cost-performance trade-offs.

Be adept at engaging deeply with technical engineering teams and senior business stakeholders, demonstrating credibility through live demonstrations, technical troubleshooting, architecture reviews, and developer education.

Show hands-on experience with NVIDIA's robotics and edge AI platforms, including Isaac Sim, Isaac ROS, Isaac Lab, Omniverse Replicator or synthetic data workflows, Jetson, TensorRT, Triton Inference Server, CUDA, Nsight Systems, Nsight Compute, and NGC containers.

Be capable of showcasing simulation-to-real workflows, robot perception pipelines, synthetic data generation, edge inference optimization, and deployment patterns across cloud, workstation, and embedded environments.

Familiarity with NVIDIA software critical for physical AI workloads, encompassing model optimization, sensor data processing, computer vision acceleration, ROS 2 integration, and edge system deployment. This includes the ability to construct robotics-focused demos, lab materials, and reference architectures that highlight how NVIDIA platforms enhance perception, autonomy, simulation, and physical AI development.
