Join a team redefining AI and Infrastructure, empowering Google customers with breakthrough capabilities and unparalleled scale, efficiency, and reliability. Contribute to world-leading hyperscale computing innovations, from TPUs to Vertex AI and global networking.
Own the complete verification life cycle, from planning and test execution to coverage closure, ensuring stringent AI/ML performance and accuracy goals are met. Build sophisticated constrained-random verification environments to uncover corner-case bugs and guarantee the reliability of AI/ML workloads on hardware.
Collaborate closely with design and verification engineers on active projects. Plan the verification of digital design blocks, identify critical verification scenarios with design engineers, and write comprehensive coverage measures for stimulus and corner cases. Debug tests collaboratively to deliver functionally correct design blocks and drive progress towards tape-out.
Requires 8 years of experience in digital logic verification at the RTL level, proficient with SystemVerilog or Specman/E for FPGAs or ASICs. Experience verifying IP, subsystems, and SoCs in the networking domain, including packet processing, bandwidth management, and congestion control, is essential. Familiarity with verifying digital systems using standard IP components and interconnects like microprocessor cores and hierarchical memory subsystems is also required.
While not strictly required, a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a computer architecture emphasis is preferred. Experience with industry-standard simulators, revision control, and regression systems, as well as AI/ML accelerators or vector processing units, would be beneficial. A strong grasp of the full verification life cycle, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, is highly valued.
