Join a pioneering team dedicated to developing cutting-edge custom silicon solutions that drive the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You will play a crucial role in innovating hardware that enhances the experiences of millions globally, shaping the next generation of technology with exceptional performance, efficiency, and integration.
Our mission at Google is to make the world's information universally accessible and useful. We achieve this by merging Google's strengths in AI, Software, and Hardware to create deeply helpful products. Our work involves extensive research, design, and development of novel technologies and hardware to deliver faster, more seamless, and powerful computing, ultimately improving lives through technology.
Develop comprehensive verification strategies, architecting robust test environments and detailed plans for full chip, subsystem, and block-level validation.
Construct scalable verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM, incorporating constrained-random stimulus generation, protocol checkers, and automated scoreboards.
Build bit-accurate reference models with C/C++ and DPI-C to dynamically verify complex pixel-processing algorithms and video pipelines.
Implement metric-driven verification methodologies, diligently tracking functional coverage, code coverage (line, branch, toggle, expression), and assertion density.
Validate high-speed protocol interfaces and link layers against industry standards, ensuring correctness in packetization, link training, error management, and recovery mechanisms.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Experience with ultra-low latency, high-density micro-display technologies is essential.
Proficiency in transitioning UVM testbenches to hardware emulation platforms is necessary.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Makefiles is expected.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, experience with micro-display technologies like MicroLED and Micro-OLED for AR/VR/XR systems, and expertise with emulation tools such as Palladium, Zebu, and Veloce.
