NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Migration Engineer for their Bangalore team. This role focuses on transforming complex data migration processes from Informatica PowerCenter to a modern data stack using Python, dbt, and Airflow. You will be instrumental in delivering enterprise-scale, production-quality solutions that are functionally equivalent to the original workflows.

This is a hands-on technical position where your expertise will drive the successful execution of large-scale data migrations. You will be a key contributor to designing and implementing efficient and robust data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and seamless transitions.

Key responsibilities include assessing and translating intricate Informatica workflows into Python EL scripts and dbt models. You will develop and maintain high-volume data pipelines, create dbt transformation models adhering to best practices, and implement comprehensive data validation tests using dbt and Python.

Orchestrate end-to-end migration processes using Airflow DAGs, ensuring functional equivalence with source Informatica workflows. Contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines for code quality and deployment. You'll also conduct peer code reviews, troubleshoot performance and data issues during testing phases, and create essential technical documentation and handover materials.

We require extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter (mappings, sessions, workflows, parameterization) and a strong background in dbt Core, including model layering, macros, and incremental strategies. Proficiency in Airflow for DAG authoring and task dependency management is essential.

Candidates must possess significant experience in Python, particularly with parallelism and batch data processing, as well as advanced SQL skills for handling large datasets. Experience with high-volume data movement tools like Oracle Data Pump or SQL Server BCP is also necessary. Familiarity with SQLAlchemy, cx_Oracle, or pyodbc is preferred.
