As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable data engineering solutions. Key responsibilities include architecting data ingestion and transformation processes, optimizing data platforms using technologies like Snowflake and Delta Lake on Databricks, and leading the development of high-performance batch and streaming data pipelines.

You will also design event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka or Amazon Kinesis, establish robust workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow or Databricks Workflows, and implement comprehensive monitoring and operational controls. Driving data quality, governance, and promoting the responsible use of AI-assisted engineering are also core aspects of this role. You will troubleshoot complex platform issues and mentor team members on data engineering best practices.

This role requires expertise in mandatory skills such as PySpark, Apache Kafka, Databricks Workflows, and Delta Lake on Databricks. Experience with Snowflake, Amazon Kinesis, and Apache Airflow is also crucial.
