As part of the Cloud Supply Chain Data Engineering team, your work will directly contribute to the product, process, and capability growth essential for Google Cloud to meet market demands and achieve competitive goals.

Architect and develop scalable data pipelines with comprehensive quality monitoring to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Craft complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation, supporting automated reporting and quantitative analysis crucial for business decisions.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to translate stakeholder data needs into effective technical solutions.

Design and maintain insightful dashboards that clearly communicate actionable insights and drive data-backed recommendations.

Automate data processes and create efficient tools using well-structured Python and SQL code.

Lead the Data Governance charter, ensuring compliance, and mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, database querying (e.g., SQL), and working with BigQuery.

Preferred qualifications include 12 years of experience in data engineering and governance, Python proficiency, complex system design, and experience deploying solutions across GCP, data warehouses, and quality tools. A strong track record in leading large-scale technical projects, mentoring engineers, and expertise in large-scale data analysis, statistics, and machine learning model development are highly valued.

Exceptional communication skills are essential for clearly explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Domain knowledge in Data Center or Supply Chain is a significant advantage.
