Join our innovative Data Center Engineering team as a Senior Data Center Engineer, focusing on Electrical Engineering. This role is instrumental in shaping the future of our data centers, driving cutting-edge strategies, and optimizing for efficiency and sustainability. You'll be a visionary, contributing to complex topics such as power utilization and the operation of state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly facilities.

Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards, developing infrastructure enhancements, and serving as a subject matter expert in electrical systems. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about technology and committed to continuous improvement, making impactful changes through meticulous planning and execution.

Collaborate with partners, customers, and key stakeholders to define and articulate robust Electrical and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design plans and long-term strategies. Proactively initiate new programs to address emerging needs and champion their successful adoption.

Manage diverse project portfolios, effectively engaging teams and engineers to set a high pace for the development, deployment, and delivery of data center services and infrastructure. Develop comprehensive project documentation, including electrical and MEP calculations, product selection criteria, quality check documents, code compliance metrics, process maps, and detailed status reports.

Leverage deep knowledge of power substation design, implementation, and permitting processes to make informed technical decisions, drive project delivery, conduct thorough technology reviews, challenge proposals, and build strong consensus among stakeholders.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field is required, alongside equivalent practical experience. Possess at least 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction, with a strong background in electrical infrastructure.

Demonstrated experience in managing data center infrastructure and fit-out projects, including effective partner and stakeholder management. Proficiency in vendor management and experience with the use and customization of project management tools are essential.

Preferred qualifications include expertise in estimating, electrical design, operation, and commissioning of substations, switchgear, emergency power systems, power monitoring, and electrical protection. Experience with design and commissioning of high voltage substations, medium or low voltage electrical distribution systems, and AC/DC systems is highly valued. Familiarity with data center equipment and operational environments, alongside a strong understanding of commissioning processes, is beneficial.
