Join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Raw Metal Cloud (RMC) team as a Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in UI. This role focuses on building the software platform for AI infrastructure lifecycle management, offering visibility and control through the RMC Portal. You'll be instrumental in migrating the application from Oracle APEX to a modern React and TypeScript stack, focusing on creating reusable components and improving user experience.

This position offers the opportunity to lead UI architecture and development for RMC Portal V2. You will drive features from conception to deployment, establish frontend engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your contributions will shape the future of OCI's AI infrastructure delivery by building a scalable and extensible platform.

Key responsibilities include migrating existing Oracle APEX workflows to React and TypeScript through a phased, tested rollout. You will develop reusable components, dashboards, and interfaces for critical workflows such as inventory management, rack readiness, and repair.

Integration of REST APIs, single sign-on, and role-based user experiences will be a core part of your work. Enhancing usability, accessibility, and performance for large datasets is also crucial. Furthermore, you will develop automated tests and actively participate in CI/CD processes, code reviews, and production troubleshooting.

Required qualifications include hands-on experience developing React applications, leveraging features like hooks and state management, along with robust API integration skills. A strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is essential.

Proficiency with Oracle Database or another relational database is necessary, including SQL, data modeling, transactions, and query optimization. Familiarity with backend development using Java or a similar language is expected. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong cross-team communication skills are vital for success in this role.
