Join our team as a Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and enhance scalable, resilient, and operatable distributed systems. You will focus on delivering robust features, conducting thorough load and performance testing, and optimizing data handling with advanced state tools for high-volume retrieval, storage, and processing. A key part of this role involves reviewing peer implementations to ensure adherence to scalability standards.
This position demands expertise in building fault-tolerant systems through redundancy, replication, and automatic failover. You will apply recovery-oriented principles and implement strategies like retries, circuit breakers, and timeouts to ensure system stability. Proactive issue detection and mitigation using tests, alarms, dashboards, and telemetry are essential, alongside authoring runbooks and actively participating in incident response and root cause analysis.
Furthermore, you will implement standard synchronization techniques, develop automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for efficient troubleshooting and maintenance, and enforce advanced security controls. Ensuring compliance with change, security, and documentation standards is also a critical aspect of this role.
