Own the software design and development for key components within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Develop and implement services for provisioning, configuring, securing, and validating server platforms across a vast fleet.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Compute, Networking, Security, and Hardware Development, to ensure the reliable launch and scaling of new server platforms. Directly engage with cutting-edge GPU hardware and advanced compute systems.

Design, develop, operate, and debug distributed services, leveraging technologies like Linux, Docker, Java web services, and Terraform. Drive improvements and deliver robust solutions.

Possess 3-8+ years of software development experience, with a proven track record in building or operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems.

Demonstrate strong hands-on coding skills in an object-oriented language (e.g., Java, C++) and proficiency in a scripting language like Python. A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems fundamentals is essential.

Familiarity with Linux, operating systems concepts, and systems troubleshooting is required, alongside experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform. Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures is beneficial. Experience with AI agents and prompt engineering for development support is expected.
