Develop and refine major software components for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, contributing to its robustness and scalability. Design, build, and maintain tooling for provisioning, configuring, securing, and validating server platforms across a vast fleet. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Compute, Networking, Security, and Hardware Engineering to ensure seamless platform launches and high reliability. Work intimately with advanced hardware, including GPUs and specialized components like BMCs and NICs, to optimize system performance. Engage in debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed systems, ensuring operational excellence and minimal overhead.

Bring a minimum of 3 to 8 years of robust software development experience, particularly in building and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems. Demonstrate strong proficiency in an object-oriented language like Java or C++, complemented by expertise in scripting languages such as Python. Possess a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and the foundational principles of distributed systems. Showcase a thorough understanding of Linux, operating system concepts, and systems troubleshooting, with a keen interest in expanding this knowledge. Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform is expected. Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures is beneficial. Comfort and experience using AI agents and prompt engineering for development tasks are highly valued.
